She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Kaitlin Smith; her husband Mike Smith of Merced; her mother Dennise Griffin (Robinson); her sister Annette Wood (Kelley); her father Don Walker; and her siblings, Al Kelley (Laurie) of Snelling, Elaine Post (Tom) of Merced and Margie Bray. She was also cherished by aunt to her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made in Donnell's name to the donor's favorite charity.
