He was predeceased by: his wife Petra Valencia; and his parents, Hermelinda Acosta and Blas Valencia. He is survived by: his children, Lucia Becerra of Merced, Eduardo Valencia Jr. of Merced, Sylvia Trueman of Folsom, Arturo Valencia of Hawaii and Carmen Bonilla of Merced; and his sisters, Maria Socorro Acosta and Olga Emerick. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 20+ great-great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (519 W 12th St, Merced, CA 95341). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Merced District Cemetery (1300 B St, Merced, CA 95341).
