He was predeceased by: his brothers, Davis and Lynn; and his son Lane. He is survived by: his wife Muriel; and his children, Terry Amador and Mark (Karen). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family requests donations in honor of Edward Joseph to the American Cancer Society in leu of flowers.
