It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Umada (Merced, California), born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Umada and Julia Bejarano; his stepfather Lupe Sr.; his father-in-law Mike Miramontes; his siblings, David, Ruben, Albert, Lupe Jr., Frances and Gloria; and his nieces and nephews, Israel, Rudy, Victoria, Clara and Erica.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Edward Jr. and Serena; his siblings, Fred, Daniel, Delia and Lupita; his mother-in-law Esperanza; his siblings-in-law, Robert (Jesus) and Lydia; and his grandchildren, Nayeli, Shawn and Joe IV. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and great-nephews, and nieces.
