Though Emery may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin Preston and Marian Preston; his wife Diane Preston; his son Russell Preston; his brother Mike Preston (George Shirah); his daughter Angela Dicochea (Bob); and his grandsons, Bobby Dicochea and Johnathan Preston.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery (32053 McCabe Rd, Santa Nella, CA 95322).
