It is with sadness that the passing of Jerry Cooper Huey Jr. of Merced, California is shared. Jerry, born on March 28, 1949 in Hayward, California, passed away on September 2, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Cooper Huey Sr. and Linder Lee Ford; and his siblings, Henry Lee Baldwin, Author Baldwin and Marjorie Baldwin Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Huey; his children, Kendrick Huey, Shontinese C. Huey, Khristen Cooper Huey, Yvonne Spruell and Rachel Cooper Huey Dye; and his siblings, Mickey Baldwin and Laura Irene Baldwin. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home (1490 B St, Merced, CA 95340).
