“This is Vera, Marian's childhood friend. I only this evening found out about her passing and am very saddened. She and I had been in touch sporadically throughout the years and somewhat regularly until just prior to her passing. I know she put up a courageous fight with her illness and I am sorry I never made the trip to Merced to see her. Marian and I shared alot of good times and many fun memories from as far back as the 60s. I offer condolences to David, her children & other loved ones.”
