She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Cotta Sr. and Mary F. Cotta; her husband Frank Martin Mello Jr.; her brother Joe "Mickey" Cotta Jr.; and her son-in-law Gary Laughlin.
She is survived by: her children, David Martin Mello (LuAnn) of Mariposa, Daryl Michael Mello (Tracy) of Atwater and Debby Marie Laughlin of Merced. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
