Robert Fred Kateley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Fred Kateley of Merced, California, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kateley and Irma Kateley; his daughter Brenda; and his brother Jim (June). He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Thompson (Richard) and John Kateley (Judy); and his children, Laura Kateley, Lynnda Kateley, Neal Kateley (Susan), Gail Basso (Ron) and Rebecca Vincent. He is also survived by 16 grand-children, and 26 (and counting) great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church Building Fund.
