He was predeceased by: his brother Robbie. He is survived by: his husband John Young; his parents, Robert Cooper and Shirley Cooper; and his siblings, David Cooper and Melinda Shaughnessy (Dennis). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Book Hotel Central Presbyterian Church (1920 Canal St, Merced, CA 95340).
