My thoughts and heart goes out to you, your loved ones and all the lives you've touched or impacted in some way for I know they feel as I do about your passing. Miss Boles, I have a memory of you that has stayed with me since I was a little boy. I was a troubled kid without guidance and it showed in my behavior in school. You saw passed the surface of my actions and cared enough to look deeper in order to understand”

“me and my situation in life. Your empathy and positive regard opened a door for me to achieve success academically that school year. I remember you announcing my name for student of the month, I was so excited because this had never happened to me before. A student shouted "why? he gets in trouble all the time", and then Miss Boles exclaimed," Yeah, that may be true but hes got straight A's and his homework is done before he leaves". Ill always love Miss Boles for that advocation.”

You rooted for me when I didn't feel like anyone was.
