It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphretta Carroll Sherrill of Milpitas, California, born in Freeport, Florida, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin Williamson and Clara Williamson; her brother Robert Doward Williamson; her child Sundiata Sherrell; and her granddaughter Malaika Sherrell.
She is survived by : her husband George; her daughters, Marsha Sherrill, Marva "Dent" Sherrill, Mell Woodson, Letitia Dixon (Keith) and Celeste Soto; her grandchildren, Beecher "Hank" Sykes, Michael Sherrill, Kayla, Cherise Dixon, Sr., Sundiata Sherrell, Jason Soto, Kenny Jackson, Tatyana McCreight (Grant), Ally, Jayda, Isaiah and Elijah Sykes; her great great grandchildren, Landon and Sierra McCreight; and also Sandra Sherrell.
Please note those attending the memorial service will be required to wear a mask. Due to the rise of COVID cases, there will not be a repast at the church and no gathering at the Sherrill's family home.
