She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Hansen and Nellie Hansen; her husband Dedrick G. Denison; and her son Rick. She is survived by: her children, Debra Hilgedick (Steve), Stacy Swain (John) and George Denison; her brother Kenneth Hansen; and her grandchildren, Tavia Dechant (David), Justin Kurland (Courtnie), Brian Kurland, Drew Denison (Sherri), Courtney Denison and Molly Swain. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Community Hospice and Health Services of Modesto in Betty's honor.
