It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Edward Bright (Modesto, California), born in Beggs, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 11, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bright and Cora Bright; his wife Marjorie; and his siblings, Gary (Betty), Clare Ellen and Glee.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Bright Tougas, Susan Bright Hunter (Gary) and Lyn E. Bright (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Rachel Tougas, Parker Bright and Lyndsay Bright.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the University of California Merced to support the Calvin E. Bright Success Center, the Children's Crisis Center, or a charity of your choosing.
