Though Donnie Dale may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donnie Dale touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Dorland (Carter) and Walker "Gus" Carter; and his brother Raymond Carter of Clatskanie, OR.. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Vierhus (Steven) of Fresno, CA and Cheryl Fondse of Ripon, CA; and his granddaughters, Kristin Safian (Christian) of Fresno, Holly Amson (Robert) of Clovis and Stefanie Pentecost (Trevor) of Bakersfield. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
