She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Schmidt and Emma Schmidt; her son Delaney Gibbs; and her brothers, Johann, Reinhold and Helmut Schmidt.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick Gibbs; her granddaughter Delaney Gibbs; her nephews, Roger Schmidt (Gee) and Rodney Schmidt (Sheila); and her niece Cindy Beckler (Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the local Salvation Army or Covenant Care Home Health & Hospice.
