It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Benavidez of Modesto, California, born in Lincoln, California, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonio Benavidez and Connie Hernandez (Concha); and his siblings, Tonita Flores, Tony Benavidez and Orlando Benavidez.

He is survived by : his siblings, Esky Benavidez (MaryLou) of Murphys, Dolores Garza of San Jose and Nadine Lovato of Granite Bay; his daughters, Claudia Plascencia, Pamela Pineau and Jennifer Benavidez; and his grandchildren, Mary Mendiola, Andrea DeOllas, Alfred DeOllas, Priscilla Plascencia, Gracie Plascencia and Payton Busig.
