James Stanton Obituary

James Stanton passed away on November 19, 2021 in Modesto, California. James leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Shirley, and his two children: Richard (DeeDee) Van Buskirk of Wisconsin and Christie (Albert) Stanton of Stockton. He was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Cody, Samantha, Devina and Nicholas. He is also survived by his siblings Robert (Roberta) Stanton and Christina (the Late Matt) Donalaya.

James proudly served the United States with 4 years of service in the United States Air Force. He then went on to work for the Department of Public Works for the City of Belmont. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping and spent many fun days watching his grandson play baseball.

James will be remembered as a gentle and friendly man. He will be deeply missed.
