He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara J. Meese; his parents, Levi Meese and Lula Meese; and his siblings, Bill, Harvey, Jim Meese, Mary Gillham, Dorothy Rowden, Betty Thomas and Etta Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara June Anderson, Lorena Ippolito and Brandon Meese. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
