She was predeceased by: her husband George Emil Owens; and her daughter Kathleen Alton. She is survived by: her mother Tillie; her children, Mike Owens (Jill) and Chris Owens (Jamie); and her grandchildren, Kristi Alton, Robert Alton (Holly), Molly Finucane (Gareth), Nick Owens (Abby), Joaquin Owens (Kate), Asa Owens and Anna Owens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Youth Scholarship Fund, Optimal Hospice, or the American Cancer Society, in Tillie's name.
