We announce the death of Miguel Samuel Contreras of Modesto, California, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 35. Miguel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Antonio and Margarito; and his uncles, Joseph and Jaime. He is survived by: his parents, Max and Elvira; his fiancé Bobbie; his siblings, Antonio (Susana), Marissa (Todd), Marianna and Amalia; his nieces and nephews, Damian, Liliana, Adelaida, Sebastian and Delaney; and his grandmothers, Elvira and Mary. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, and many more cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Fry Memorial Chapel (550 S Central Ave, Tracy, CA 95376). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, guests are encouraged to make a donation in Miguel's name to Hughson Full Gospel Assembly of God, the Millennium High school music department, or The Bay Area Music Project, to help keep his spirit and love of music alive for the next generation of children.
