He is survived by: his children, Steven Lal and Kavita Lal; his wife Kiran Lal; his daughter-in-law Sandra Bidesi Lal; his grandson Akash Singh; his granddaughter-in-law Sarah Singh; his grandchildren, Monisha Singh and Rajan; and his siblings, Moti Lal, Roop Lal, Sonohar Lal, Phul Kumari, Sarojni Kumari and Raj Kumari.
