“I was devastated to learn of the passing of Patti. I was Andrew’s 2nd grade teacher. She often assisted me in the classroom and oh what a joy she was to be around. I too am a diabetic and we often compared notes on the subject. I realize this is a belated message, but it’s new to me. My heart and prayers are with her family.....especially Andrew. He was alway so special to me, and an excellent student I might add. Ms. Appling”
