He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Alger and Hilda Alger; his siblings, Ann Mathews and David Alger; his siblings-in-law, Gene Mathews and Cornelia Alger; and his niece Diana Alger.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jeff Alger (Ronda), Brent Alger (RaeAnn), Tricia Ozenbaugh (Trey) and Melanie Bach (Dusty); and his siblings, Charlene Koontz (Bob), Jerry (Barbara) and Tom (Sheri). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren-in-law; and 14 great-grandchildren.
