He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Goncalves; his grandchildren, Brian (Tracy) and Michelle (Antioch); his mother Bertha Hucker; and his brother Richard Goncalves (Sebastopol).
He is survived by: his children, Patty Flemmer (Modesto) and Jim Goncalves (Los Banos); and his grandchildren, Neil (Grass Valley) and Melissa (Lodi). He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love donations to be made in Robert's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
