He was predeceased by : his wife Georgia Hinkle; his parents, Scott Hinkle and Hattie Hinkle; and his brother-in-law Terry West of Arkansas. He is survived by : his children, Cindy Minter, Cheryl Prater and Scott R. Hinkle; his grandchildren, Nicole, Kyle, Melissa, Hailey and Elena; his great grandchildren, Brodey, Owen, Craig of Emily, TJ, Mattis and Gunnar; his sister-in-law Fran West; and his niece Jodi Dent. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Animal Humane Society or American Heart Association.
