He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Aretas Boone and Edna Boone; his sister Pat Helmuth; his siblings-in-law, Dean Landes, Harley Helmuth, Gary Lavy, Tamera Boone, Marlene Boone, Jerry Hyre, Kent Dickey and Bill Coleman; and his great-nephew Jacob Reeder.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Boone; his children, Brian (Brenda Miller), Beth, Gary (Becky Austin) and Doug (Betsy Cockrell); his grandchildren, Grant Miller, Avery Austin (Julianne), Allie Case (Nate), Audrey Cockrell, Kirstin Cockrell and Taylor Cockrell; his great grandchildren, Emmie Austin, Levi Austin, Laney Austin, Bodie Austin and Boone Case; his siblings, Sharon Lavy, Marilyn Rogers (Marion), Danielle Wray (Sam) and Gordon Boone; and his sister-in-law Myra Coleman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
