He was predeceased by: his wife Natividad; and his parents, Tito Cabreros and Lorenza Cabreros. He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Frumencio (Marilyn), Bernardo (Esther), Felicisimo Alen, Arleen Louie (Michael) and Emelda; his grandchildren, Mary Jacquelyn Cabreros, Chloe Nicole Louie, Nately Marie Wareckiy-Cabreros, Erin Alexis Louie, Jorge Cruz, Walter Cruz and Yanet Cruz; his great grandchildren, Alejandro, Walter Jr., Jayden and Fiorella; his sibling Liberata Del Rosario (Juana Cabreros); his parents-in-law, Alfonso, Magdalena Funtanilla, Norma Funtanilla, Lutgarda Ramirez, Olive Aradanas, Ernesto, Mabel Funtanilla, Rudolfo, Lema Funtanilla, Oscar, Myrna Funtanilla and Pedro; his siblings, Casio Cabreros, Mariano, Claudia Cabreros, Basilisa Cabreros, Alejandra Antolin (Federico) and Victoria; and his nephews, Joseph Funtanilla, Steven Onggako and Logan "Onggako" McCombs. He is also survived by nephews/nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces.
In early 2020 he moved to California to be near his children and grandchildren before the state lockdown for COVID-19.
