He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Sumiko Yamada; and his brother James Yamada. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Mitsuuchi (Rodny), Michael, Natalie Tachibana (Kris) and Kristie Lopez (Mark); his grandchildren, Nicole (Ruben), Timothy, Bryan, Diane, Julia and Liana; and his sister Louise Inouye. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
