With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Murakami of Montebello, California, who passed away on March 13, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his sister Florence Kaneshiro Antti (Murakami). He is survived by : his wife Ruth Hatsue Matsui; his children, Margaret Endo (Jesse), Jeffrey (Christine), JoAnne Aiau (Derrick) and Joyce (Todd Sasaki); his grandchildren, Lani Davies (Endo), Lisa Endo, James "Kimo" Endo, Leilani, Riki, Jodi Aiau, Deanne Aiau and Alexis Sasaki; and his great grandchild Kyler Davies.

Donations can be made in his honor to Centenary United Methodist Church, PO Box 412797, Los Angeles, CA 90041 or Montebello Plymouth Congregational Church, 144 S. Greenwood Ave., Montebello, CA 90640.
