With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marcelina R. Salcedo (Montebello, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Marcelina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marcelina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus and Magdalena. She is survived by: her children, Pedro, Jose, Ezequiel, Jorge, Martha, Teresa and Irene; and her brother Jose.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church (820 N Garfield Ave, Montebello, CA 90640). Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guerra & Gutierrez Mortuary - Montebello (5800 E Beverly Blvd, East Los Angeles, CA 90022). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
