She was predeceased by: her husband Shoji "Stogie" Kanogawa. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Kanogawa Johnson (Russ) and Nancy Stiles (Kevin); her granddaughter Dana Niiro Douglas-Hiley (Quinn); her great grandchildren, Enzo Niiro and Emi Masako; and her sister Yoshiko Jean Oba-Inouye. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
