She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Mizuno; and her children, Barbara Mizuno and Russell Mizuno. She is survived by: her daughter Jan Mizuno (Rand Eguchi); her grandchildren, Morgan Mizuno, Megan Eguchi (Vivek Sethumadhavan), James Eguchi and Daniel Eguchi; her great grandchild Agastya Eguchi; her sister Haru Sugino; her sisters-in-law, Midori Iwanaga and Tomoko Iwanaga; and her children-in-law, Roy Fujii and Noriko Takehara Mizuno. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
