She was predeceased by : her parents, Refugio Alvarez and Magdalena Alvarez; her husband James Rede Lopez (Jim); her brothers, Robert and Ruben Alvarez; and her nephews, Zach Alvarez and Art Garcia.

She is survived by : her children, Carolyn Marie Perez (Eddie), James Matthew Lopez (Patty) and Robbie Ann Aledo (David); her grandchildren, Christopher Barrera, James Barrera, Nakoa James Aledo and Makai James Aledo; her great grandchildren, Miranda Barrera and Jameson Barrera; and her siblings, Eva, Amy, Josie, Irma and Ricky.
