He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Gretchen Bekker and Guillermo Bekker; his wife Ginette Irene Valis; his grandson Mark; his children, Michael Bekker, Linda Harvey (Scott), Vivian Brito and Mark Bekker (Amy); his extended family, Bob Palma (Janelle) and Tisha Nichols (Mark); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Brito, Ginette Schaffer (Brito), Christopher Harvey, April Mooney (Harvey), Will Bekker, Kathleen Bekker, Phil Bekker, Brian Bekker, Bobby Palma, Jordyn Palma, Annie Paquin (Aldrete) and Carter Aldrete.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula or your favorite charity.
