“Dear Trista, Larry and Family: words do not adequately express my heartfelt sympathy at the loss of your husband, brother and loved one. Kirk was one of my high school classmates and childhood neighbors. Even though we did not see one another often we were never at a loss for conversation and with each interaction merely picked up where we left off. Kirk was certainly one of the good guys. I pray God’s comfort for you all.”

“Dear larry: my prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. It is believed that the older we are--the more it hurts. And one is reminded of our family that too has past making this death devastating. Several months ago started listening to the phone a bro program and it has been delightful. We always hope that the one we love knew we loved them and that it was peaceful. It is my belief that kirk felt blessed by god and especially by your love and to have had you as his brother.”

I consider myself a decent trivia wonk, but Kirk was amazing. Larry’s questions were difficult often requiring multiple answers. Kirk was very hard to beat. Truly impressive.
