He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Scott Baird, Sr. and Lurrah Baird (Coffield) of Virginia; and his grandson Frank. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Bill Jr., Valerie and Virginia "Ginny"; his children-in-law, Tony, Harold, Annabelle and Tina; his grandchildren, Leticia, David, Chris, Kenneth, Ronald, Ciana, Donovan, Justin and McKenzie; his siblings, Melvin, Lois and Beverly; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne and Theda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and family.
