He was predeceased by: his brother Desire Telmont; his wife Alice Marie Telmont; his children, Richard Sanchez and Loretta Frates; his son-in-law Caton Frates, Sr.; his grandson Mark Sanchez; and his sister Evelyn Rezendes.

He is survived by: his son Ronald Sanchez (Cheryl); his daughters-in-law, Cheryl and Sharon Sanchez; and his grandchildren, Carrie Frates, Caton Frates Jr., Christy Sanchez, Jeff Sanchez, Chris Sanchez, Greg Sanchez and Steve Sanchez. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
