He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Heatlie; and his in-laws, Daniel and Kathryn Naughton. He is survived by: his wife Karen Carpenter; his daughters, Brooke Zoobi and Lainie Carpenter; his son-in-law Abed Zoobi; his grandson Harper Zoobi; and his siblings, Gabrielle Walker, Circe Bisby and Vance Cooke.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (17720 Monterey Hwy, Morgan Hill, CA 95037).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the HealthWell Foundation, which helps cancer patients with medical expenses, or that a tree be planted in Mike's memory. Keep Michael's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
