He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Williams and Marydella Williams; his wife Dorothy Jane Kindinger; and his daughter Diane. He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen Foran (Ken) of Morro Bay; his grandchildren, Eric Foran (Jamie) of New York, NY and Heather Barbis (Evan) of Morro Bay, CA; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Daphne Barbis of Morro Bay, Alex and Tyler Foran of New York.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvery Lutheran Church.

For over 75 years, Richard was very active in the Masonic Fraternity, an organization rooted in moral self-improvement, charity, and brotherhood.
