We bid farewell to Sidney Marques in Morro Bay, California, born in Hanford, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 19, 2026 at the age of 98. Sidney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Sidney may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sidney touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary When and John Marques Sr. When; his wife Isabel Borba of San Rafael; and his son Larry. He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly (Gary) and Darlene (Charlie); and his brother Robert Marques. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
