He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvin Solus and Deloria Solus; and his brother Robert Solus. He is survived by : his brother Richard Solus; his sister-in-law Claris Solus; his nephews, Nathan, Wesley, Brian and Andrew Solus; and his neice Allison Solus Blankenship.
