He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Valdez (Smith) and Anthony Gonzales; his son Bryan; his siblings, Teresa Gonzales, Rose Gonzales and John "Boogie" Valdez; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Placencia, Charlene Davis, Tammy Arviso and Leroy "Pinker" Hutton.
He is survived by : his wife Patti Gonzales; his children, Zachery Gonzales and Gianna Gonzales; his godchildren, Serrena Kennedy, Christoper Duro, Lillyan Valenzuela and Krystal Ozuna; his parents-in-law, Judy Arviso and Leroy "Pinky" Hutton; his siblings, Martin "Dingus" Valdez Sr., Gary Placencia (Tina), Glen Placencia (Ronda), Gordon Placencia (Juanita), Patrick Placencia (Tara), Joe Rodriguez, Rusty Weiss, Tommy Melendez, Jeaniann Espinoza, Veronica "Ronnie" Espinoza, Fatima "Timo" Gonzales, Judy Gonzales, Juanita Gonzales, Rebecca Gonzales, Joyce Placencia, Lois Placencia, Doris Placencia and Maria Placencia; and his siblings-in-law, Kristie Arviso, Amy Arviso, Sarah Arviso and Jimmy Neeley (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
