She is survived by : her mother Evangeline Gill Rose of Newman; her significant other Jack Short of Napa; her daughter Robin Short-Van Honk (John Van Honk) of Napa; her sisters, Arlene M. Avila (Jerry) of Turlock and Marie Rose-Watkins (Steve) of Ripon; her niece Jennifer R. Avila of Modesto; her nephew Jake Avila of Newman; and her grandson Rhys Van Honk of Napa.
