She is survived by: her husband Michael M. Amir; her children, Linda (Mike), Susan, Michael (Ayten), Alexander, Sol and Catherine (Chris); and her grandchildren, Matthew (Milena), Danielle (Arvin), Alyssa, Michelle, Nick, Maya and Imany. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the SPCA Haven of Solano County, an organization Joan felt strongly about.
