With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Vasserot Merle of Napa, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Thomas and Martin; and his parents, Oliver "Hobbs" Vasserot Merle and Patricia Finigan of San Francisco. He is survived by: his pet Niners; his friend Hobbs; and his cousin Matt Regan.
