He is survived by: his children, Ralph Esparza Jr. and Alma Patricia Esparza Nelson; his children-in-law, Tom Nelson and Lisa Esparza; his grandchildren, Abel Nelson, Caleb Nelson and Nate Nelson; his great grandchildren, Kai Nelson and Kaylee Nelson; and his sister Dolores (Lola). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
