He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Axelrod and Margaret Axelrod. He is survived by: his sons, Damon Axelrod (Kristy) and Scott Axelrod (Sarah); and his siblings, Sherri Dockstader, Susan Chiofalo (Vincent) and Steve Axelrod (Kim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
