He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Elias Hessel and Marianlu Hamilton; and his brother Victor Eugene Hessel. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hessel; and his children, Tracey Hessel, Kenique Hessel, Stacy Wright and Scott Trafton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sierra Presbyterian Church (175 Ridge Rd, Nevada City, CA 95959).
