He was predeceased by : his parents, Evelyn Brooks and Milton Yale Brooks. He is survived by : his wife Melisse Margie Brooks; his son Randy (Cheryl); his granddaughter Arianna; and his stepgrandchildren, Mitchell, Tyler and Elizabeth Bruch.

“To the family of Jack Brooks, my condolences. My Father (brother of Evelyn) and the three of us siblings (John,Tom and Mary) had a special affection for Jack. As kids, when he visited us with his convertible and shared with us his experience as a DJ, we felt like we were in the company of Elvis😁. Jack taught us kids how to play poker. We used matches for chips. We exchanged Christmas cards each year, with Margie doing the updates of their life in Nevada City. Love, Cousin John and family.”
